Maths Vision for Mastery
Mr Jolley, our Maths Lead, has started a journey with the Maths Hub which over the next few years will embed a Mastery Approach to the teaching of Maths at Coleshill.
This started in 2020-21 with Mrs Millward working alongside Mr Jolley to undertake a Readiness for Mastery course in Reception.
During the academic years 2021-23 two Maths Origin projects will run concurrently;
a) Mastery of Number (working with a lead teacher in each of Reception, Year 1 and Year 2
b) Developing Mastery: Lead by Mr Jolley preparing all teachers across the school for the move towards a Mastery Approach.
